SHORT STRATEGIC CHECK.
With the business ownership and the general management a
synthesis framework on the organizational structure of the company and the strategic development aims will be traced


ANALYSIS OF THE INFORMATIVE FLOWS AND THE BUSINESS PROCESSES
Custodia consultants will arrange with the operating management to understand the principal business processes of the company (active cycle, passive cycle, productive processes, handling of materials, and activity of the single offices). In particular the following business people in charge will be met:
• Sales area
• Technical Office Area
• Production area
• Logistics Area
• Quality Area, laboratory
• Storage Area for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products
• Administration, finance and control area

ANALYSIS ON THE SYSTEM OF CONTROL OF CURRENT MANAGEMENT.
Custodia's expert will interview the controller (if he exists) of the company and the administration office to verify the following activities:
• Cost calculation (job costing, unitary costs of product, budgeting and reporting, transfer inter group prices)
• Budget (analysis of the budget process)
• Reporting (analysis of all the reports produced by the various business units).

ANALYSIS OF THE BUSINESS DEMANDS IN THE MANAGEMENT CONTROL AREA.
In this phase will be highlighted:
• The critical state emerged from the strategic analysis and of the processes
• Points of strength /weakness of the current system of management control
• The control demands from the ownership, the management and the business operating units

PREPARATION AND DISCUSSION OF THE FINAL DOCUMENT.
The Custodia consultants will arrange to prepare the contents of the final document:
• State and critical state of the strategic planning in internal audit in relationship with the state and critical state of last 3 exercises
• State and critical state of the system of control of current management (with highlighting of critical states emerged from the analysis of the processes)
• Emerged demands on the internal audit
• Proposed management control system in the areas of improvement, projects to be activated, re-emerged to be involved
The document will be subsequently discussed with the ownership and the business management.
